I didn't get to eat anything today, crash!” 6:40:42 PM 9/09/06 moonglo “Why you looking at my profile? Trying to hit on me? Besides, I moved out into the 'burbs in Dec.” 9:47:41 PM 9/09/06 “So, did you get your computer problems taken care of, Mark?” 9:54:07 PM 9/09/06 Treebeard “Thanks for asking. So far, so good.” 11:14:15 PM 9/09/06 “Good deal! The Railroad needs all the listeners it can get! :) j/k Seriously, it was a good summer for music. I made some very good contacts this year and worked within some great festivals/productions. Have you heard this guy, John Ginty, that I have been pushing?” 11:26:12 PM 9/09/06 12:53:02 AM 9/10/06 “hehehe looks liike a jippy” 1:21:32 AM 9/10/06 “Hey Slim! The top one's the official Ginty site. I recorded the Conan show the other night. He was on with Citizen Cope. But, I went to bed early, started the tape, and had it on fast speed. Didn't realize that. So, I just missed the segment. Oh well... Anyhow, join me [on time] at 3 PM tomorrow. We'll have Steppenwolf as the Underground feature artist. www.homegrownradionj.com last edited: 9/15/06 8:00:14 PM” 7:58:43 PM 9/15/06 “I should be on the train today, chores around the house. I'll move it to the garage and hook up the amp for Steppenwolf. Goes well with early Three Dog Night. Toss in some Stones, Paint it Black, Led Zeppelin, and I'll feel like a teenager again. ;-D” 9:57:26 AM 9/16/06 “Where is he? "Stu," you need to take the "A" train. ---------------------------------------------- EDIT Actually, you did much better today. Good work. LOL. last edited: 9/16/06 2:07:30 PM” 2:05:28 PM 9/16/06 “Oops! Connection lost! Cannot connect to Server. ------------------------------------------ EDIT Same condition. Sort of like bye-bye. My player is working OK on other stuff. last edited: 9/16/06 3:34:02 PM” 3:28:20 PM 9/16/06 “OK, you're back on a connection. But the current song sounds sick, like maybe too slow. ----------------------------------------------- EDIT You were history, again. But you have returned. The current song is faster, fast enough to dance to. last edited: 9/16/06 3:45:33 PM” 3:37:43 PM 9/16/06 “What an ending! Like a broken record. At least I thought it was the end.” 3:47:23 PM 9/16/06 “should be ok, now, Slim. Let me know...” 3:51:52 PM 9/16/06 “Yep, we're chugging on. Thanks.” 3:54:39 PM 9/16/06 “Good! :09 Had to make some encoding adjustments..” 3:56:45 PM 9/16/06 “Railroad running again tomorrow from 3 to 6 PM. Join me as we play some Bruce Springsteen raritiesas feature the Boss on his birthday. We'll stick to things that you don't get to hear ofte (if at all). WWW.homegrownradionj.com” 9:13:36 PM 9/22/06 “How old is the old dude?” 9:14:38 PM 9/22/06 “I think 56. I remember him saying he was 30 around the time of the No Nukes concert. That was 1980...” 9:45:16 PM 9/22/06 “How 'bout stuff off the Nebraska album? My fathers house perhaps?” 9:47:27 PM 9/22/06 “Date of Birth: 23 September 1949” 9:47:39 PM 9/22/06 “Thanks, Babe! So, 57 it is! Sounds good, Slack. i just put the LP in the crate...” 9:48:40 PM 9/22/06 “i love his new album.” 9:50:17 PM 9/22/06 “Met up with the Good Rats again last night. Had a nice talk with front man/songwriter, Peppi Marchello. Recorded about 1/2 hour of it. Then stayed for the show. It was a freebie that they gave outside the bar 1 block north of Wall Street on Broadway. They blocked off the tiny side street (Thames Street) and set up tables and umbrellas all down the block. The street must be all of 20 feet wide, not including the sidewalks. So, the sounds was awesome sandwiched between two tall buildings. These guys are awesome. We'll feature a few cuts tomorrow...” 9:53:56 PM 9/22/06 “The train is running great. Real enjoyable here in the club car. But the Porter said that no other music is permitted in the club car from 3 until 6. Excuse me, here comes another cold one! Reminds me of a train trip in Italy. The train reached the west coast, made a stop and continued, either north or south along the coast. They had not told me that I needed to transfer at that stop and go in the opposite direction. But, once the mistake was discovered, they did get me on another trail headed back. Just another American "tourist" lost in a foreign country. last edited: 9/23/06 2:45:29 PM” 2:41:12 PM 9/23/06 “Just tuned in.” 2:44:54 PM 9/23/06 “Today is Bruce's birthday??” 6:13:13 PM 9/23/06 “Tomorrow, Spet. 30, we will take a little relaxing route of the Underground Railroad. We will be broadcasting from the deck of fellow DJ's Johnny C and Kath. They have this nice place on a little lake and we are just changing the scenery and broadcasting from their deck. 3 to 6 PM, we will feature Santana as the Underground Feature Artist. www.homegrownradionj.com” 10:48:52 PM 9/29/06 “Cool, hope to catch it bro.” 10:56:38 PM 9/29/06 “choo choo mofos!” 2:22:54 AM 9/30/06 “The Underground Railroad returns from a two week hiatus tomorrow at 3. A very special day planned. There's a Texas, blues-rock performer named Rhett Tyler that I introduced on stage at a festival in Milford, Pa in June. He's really good and has 6 cd's out with some moderate success in the Northeast. He will be my guest from 4 to 6 tomorrow for interview and music. Between 6 and 8, during the East Of Midnight show, we will be setting up for Rhett's solo accoustic performance at 8PM. We will be recording it and I am proud to say that the concert is slated to be released as his next live CD in early 2007. It's the first time I've gotten to get a hand in someone's album release, so this is a big thrill for me. Please join us. Rhett is quite a talented bluesman. Give him a chance. His live performance does not disappoint.” 10:28:32 PM 10/13/06 “halloween name, bud....... :p” 8:23:11 AM 10/14/06 “Join me at a special time for a special Halloween celebration aboard the Underground Railroad. It's on the top shelf at the end of aisle 3, next to the condoms...” 11:59:04 PM 11/03/06 “Mucho thank O! laugh out loud O !” 12:02:57 AM 11/04/06 Tapping out the seconds. “Tap, tap, tap, tap, ... tap, tap, tap, ... 1,800, 1,759, 1,758, 1,757, ...
