Our office motto raises it's head on a daily basis. I have a project where a wall was constructed incorrectly. I told them to take it down and build it correctly. They went ahead and erected the 2nd floor on top of this wall. I have to go up there to attempt to salvage the wall. They knew better than to continue with construction after being told to remove and replace. If you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough. Conversely, if I decide to take a day off and hike during a busy stretch, then I don't get to complain about working 70 hrs the next week.”

lizs, you're all drama and that's it. I'm not being dramatic in any way. As usual you stick your nose in something you know nothing about and it IS here nor there. There was a bet about the outcome of the election. The folks whose candidate lost had to stay away from the board for 2 years. I'm suggesting that the board loses and that it's unlikely that those folks will come back after such a long lag. No drama, just hoping the folks are allowed to come back. Oh, I forgot that you stick your nose in other peoples business for a living.”

HAHA! I don't have a contract with them or anything and I didn't ban them. The bet was stupid. The only reason everyone was willing to make the bet is because we were all willing to go without TT. Ya don't bet what ya can't stand to lose. When and where these guys post isn't up to me and I'd probably not make a big deal about it.

Now had I left and been released from the bet I'd still not return. But that's just me.”
