if we outlaw tasers only the outlaws will have tasers! i say, start shocking the little bastards in the crib. turn the humidifier off, scuff your feet quickly back and forth on the carpet, walk up, and touch the little tit-sucker right on the nose. nothing is funnier than watching a baby cry from pain you inflicted.

Wow, you know the story of the girl should be seperate because she sounded like her parents have neglected to whoop her arse and she was getting carried away. Hopefully she got a jolt of common sense with this. Now, the boy was a different story. He probably just wanted attention and could have been talked to. Whoever the retard is in the story that suggested offering the kid candy might need to be tasered though. Who the fcuk walks up to a hostile child with a goody basket like they're fcuking Mary Poppins?

Man dies after Taser shock

By DIANA SHOLLEY, STAFF WRITER

POMONA - A man witnesses said was screaming in fear for his life and walking into traffic died after a confrontation with police in which he was shocked with a Taser.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. Monday, the man darted through traffic on Holt Boulevard near Gibbs Street yelling that his life was in peril, said Lt. Larry Lincoln of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau.

Lincoln said a female civilian employee of the Pomona Police Department was in her car when she witnessed the man's erratic behavior.

The man, a 37-year-old whose identity is being withheld until his family is notified, noticed her and began pounding on the vehicle and screaming that someone was trying to kill him.

She radioed the police. When the first officer arrived on the scene he tried to calm down the man.

"The individual turned his attention to the officer and started pounding his car," Lincoln said.

It was about this time Sandi Lacey walked a client out from Nagcoglass, her auto glass company just across from the commotion.

"He kept banging on the hood of the police car yelling, "Help me, help me,"' Lacey said.

"I thought at first he'd been in an accident and the police had come to help, but the police kept telling him to calm down. He wasn't complying."

His odd behavior suggested to Lacey he may be under the influence of some kind of drug.

"He kept saying such crazy stuff like guns were pointed at him when they weren't," she said. "He even pointed at one of our drivers and said he was pointing a rifle at him. He was hallucinating, there was no rifle."

The officer believed his safety was in jeopardy and used his Taser, a non-lethal weapon designed to immobilize someone with an electric shock.

"The Taser had little effect," Lincoln said.

The man remained very aggressive and a physical threat to the officer, Lincoln said. The female employee got out of her car and when the man saw her, he started toward her.

"She then used her Taser, and he dropped to the ground," Lincoln said.

He was transported by ambulance to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m. The cause of death is undetermined pending the results of an autopsy.

As a parent, I'd be mighty displeased if any one "tasered" one of my kids for cutting class.

So someone was trying to kill him and the bastards did it!

The cause of death is undetermined pending the results of an autopsy

I'm no ME but I would say the cause of death was his heart stopped after being tasered.

We had a guy who was all hopped up on drugs and ranting and raving in the middle of the street who got tasered and died. His body temp was like 103 and the coroner said that's what caused it.

So the taser had nothing to do with it?

How does one determine pre-death body temp? Or did he not die right away?

Of course it did. It was a combonation of drugs, body temp and taser.

Brings to mind.......
an occurence that happened in my presence once....Next door neighbor's (lady) young son (age 5) decided to play outside in the street without shoes....mom comes to front porch and says "Come in, put shoes on then go back out but not in street"....Child turns to mother and says "F---k You you #&%!$"....I stand in my yard holding rake and assume the flabbergasted look....Mom repeats....child repeats....Moms final answer was "Ok then no nintendo tonite"....Personally i wanted to beat both of them to death....end of story
