wonder how the Republicans will spin this story. Quite a few House Republicans voted against this.

"DeLay said the impetus for the change was a desire to prevent a Democratic district attorney from deciding whether House Republican leaders could keep their jobs."

When I first heard about this, my reaction was the same as Ewker's, outrage.

On further study, you can charge someone with anything, and the Dem DA is well on the way to doing that, so I'm willing to give the Repubs the innocent until proven guilty.
If Delay is proven guilty, fry his a$$.

For a Party that speaks so fondly of "The rule of Law" , they are sure good at flaunting it for their own purpose.

Remember, its not that he maybe indicted, its that the judge and Grand Jury are all Liberals.

I'm ready for some good old fashion class warfare...us against them. Give them a year or two for that 2 % of the country to realize that they have been coned by the Neocons and let the riots begin.

I see no reason to change the law. The timing certainly calls into question the integrity of the motivation for the change.

Even Fox News hasn't mentioned it. There are a lot of Republicans that are embarrassed by this.

mtnsteve, I had checked last night and no sign of it at all. I find that amusing since they are suppose to be the only news network that speaks the truth about everything.

The Moderates in the Republican party better start looking over their shoulders....

They are going to find the only ones covering their backs are Democrats.

Rules were made to be broken right? This sounds very progressive to me.

in your way of thinking I could break the law and the rules would be changed for me..I kind of doubt it
