“No snow in the Catskills or Adiriondacks. Did hit an hour long heavy snow squall in Utica which stopped me from driving up to the Canadian border to visit a friend. My car was loaded down with tools from Harbor Freight. Gift cards courtesy of my wife for Xmas. I guess I wanted to play with them.

I have 2 weeks off, so maybe later. Tomorrow I have to head down to South Jersey (5 1/2 - 6 hour ride) to do some plumbing & carpentry work for my step mother-in-law.”

“It rained from 11 to 1pm, the temps dropped suddenly and the roads went from being wet to ice in about 10 minutes, then we got 3 inches of snow in 2 hours...heavy, wet snow on top of ice...I had a funeral that started at 1pm...when I got there it started snowing...I almost didn't make it home which was a mile from the church with steep hills...didn't even attempt to get up the driveway...sometimes 4 wheel drive would be useful...LOL...

“dug out yesterday. Had drifts up to about 3.5 feet in my driveway, but they are clear now. The suns out and the roads are mostly clear too.

Yeah, the Denver airport has been and still is a MESS, (according to the news) the Today show opened with a shot from DIA. poor folks, its sposed to open up at noon today.

We're sposed to get another little flurry of snow tonight or tomorrow I think, but only a couple of inches this time.
