A very old Christmas eve tradition in Germany was to hide a ------ [ornament] deep in the branches of the family Christmas Tree. The parents hung the ------ last after all the other ornaments were in place. In the morning they knew the most observant child would receive an extra gift from St. Nicholas. The first adult who finds the ------ traditionally gets good luck for the whole year.

The cool thing is that it was filled up with a bunch of yummy treats to keep my butt moving on the trail. (maybe he is trying to tell me somethin'...) The Power Beans definately helped out on that 16 miler a couple of days ago.

Anybody know where I can upload a picture and post it here? The TT pictures feature is kaput and I don't think webshots allows you to link to a picture uploaded there.
