“Birch, my grandboy put it on the tree...he was all excited cause it was like gramma's boat. I'll get a picture of it on the tree tomorrow when the lights are off...it's right next to the fly ornament that RichB tied for me.

Homemade ornaments are so neat...I haven't made anything "adult like" but each year me and the kidlets make ornaments and gifts. This year the ornament is angels with the kids faces on them, LOL...and for gifts we did fabric paint handprints on dishtowels and dishcloths. I've still got to get the grandboy to do his prints, but they came out nice.

This was a great idea Sass, I hope we do it again next year.

the gear shop had titanium stakes hanging as icicles on their tree...i thought that was kinda cute, that is where i got the idea. hope they are not too heavy to hang as ornaments!!...”

“Wounded Knee....hope you find it useful..it's amazingly efficient for it's size and weight..if something is REALLY stuck, put some hot water in it and let it sit for a few minutes before scraping..you know that, I'm sure. It is also good for scraping mud and just about anything else that can be scraped....I've used it to scrape off a duff-free place to sit my stove, clean bird#&%!$ off of picnic table seats and dead bugs off my windshield...luckily, it's easy to wash!”

Mataharihiker- You'll get this ornament if I have to Fedex the #^&#% thing! I got in my car to go pick my Mom, and next thing I know the car is filled with gas fumes and the smell of burnt rubber. So, one tow to the dealership later, they're telling me "Yep, looks like a fuel leak somewhere. We'll let you know later this afternoon." Argh!”

The snow globe is very cute. And the cards are a very nice addition for the trail. I haven't had a chance to look at the pink ribbon closely yet. Is that a pinkbubelz thing or a breast cancer thing?”
