back on the trail again!

“I cannnot believe that an entire year has gone by without a backpacking trip. Finally back to it now that I started a new job that leaves me inspired and energetic. Went to Raven\'s Point (Grundy Co, TN) two weekends ago with Katibug and several others (about 12 of us total).
I split up my gear with my b\'friend Rabbit, and it worked out well, since he doesn\'t have suitable gear yet. AND we are heading out again this weekend (with Katibug and Rabbit) to Hidden Passage (Pickett Co, TN)
on Friday - got my cold weather bag and clothing. I am so psyched! Would love to reconnect with the folks I met along the way in the past 3 years, too many to mention.”

“Thanksgiving weekend at Pickett State park was lots of fun, #&%!$in' cold too! Managed really well with the help of "Sparky" our beer fairy and hardwood bringer while we car camped Friday eve. Did lots of trails early the next day before the super bad weather hit, the cabin was a nice back up plan to sitting in tents from 2pm until dawn the next day, when the system moved on. Good time had by all.”
