Monument Valley is a Navajo Nation tribal park, straddling the border of northeastern Arizona and southeastern Utah of the Colorado Plateau.

Monument Valley is located along the Utah/Arizona border towards the southeast corner of Utah. It is just east of Hwy. 163, about 22 miles southwest of Mexican Hat, Utah and 24 miles north of Kayenta, Arizona.

I loved Monument Valley..it had a very spiritual feel to it not changed by all the jeep-driving Navajo's..they seemed really a part of the whole experience which I greatly enjoyed!
