All but one. I made some guacamole for lunch today. Everything else has been leftovers for two days.

That's funny Phil, I was just thinking of your guacamole the other day. Every time I have it it reminds me of the time we were all camping and you made the fresh homemade guacamole.

The turkey was actually a small one, and it was finished after 2 full meals on thursday. The big meal right at noon, and a full dinner around 7. That was a very tasty turkey, too. A lot more flavorful than I've had in years.

Demolished almost all the turkey on the day (there were more than 30 people) so for the next day, mother-in-law decided to make CHICKEN for dinner! She made too much chicken, so for lunch, the day following, before we left, we had leftover chicken. Swawk!!!

(Couldn't wait for that veggie sandwich.)

My brother in law baked 4 sweet potato pies, plus a pan of brownies. We're still working on the pie.

We finally pitched the last of the pies. Robert made turkey hash out of the leftovers--I think we will finish that off tonight. I keep sneaking wild rice--it has good mushrooms and slivered almonds and green onions and was cooked in chicken broth. I made turkey soup with barley and green beans-- we had that last night with cornbread. We are leaving tomorrow for another river trip so the rest is for the kids I guess.

Having had dinner at others' houses, I had no leftovers. Last night I made a pumpkin pie and ate half of it today for breakfast and lunch. :D I grilled chicken marinated in italian dressing and served it with mashed potatoes this evening. ymmmmm!

I bought a 14 pounder. I think the smaller the turkey, the higher % of bone you get. My turkey lasted only 3 days for 2 people. I just kept repeating the same meal with stuffing, mashed potatoes and peas w/bacon and onion.

My in law says the Pennsylvania Dutch make turkey sandwiches on waffles.

You can always make the carcass into turkey soup, but I'm not crazy for turkey soup, but it does come out pretty good if you do.
