Oh, what about that nasty smelling sulfur water? oh boy, was I glad that I had my first need filter. Not sure if any other filter would've gotten rid of the smell and the taste. That must've been the worst smelling water I have ever smelled. Talk about rotten eggs...Yuck!!”

“Gem, OK, yeah, you're thinking of Dungeness ruins. No tours there. I don't think you could really get into the ruins, just up on the courtyard type area outside. It ws a big, ole huge building. There also were ruins of what I think they called a "tabby" type structure close to Dungeness. It looked cool, kind of wooden shingles for the exterior. Again, you couldn't get in.

I would like to say that hiking on dunes is tremendously hard to do! i felt like such a wussy hiker. but it was great and i loved the different terrains on the island.

“Oh, sorry WLD, I changed the captions since last night. It was ruins of a Wharf on the northwestern side of the island. they had all kinds of barnacles on them.”
