For JO
Manuka, aka New Zealand Tea Tree Flower boy.

You continue with your internet know-it-all, preener, bore act. Germany and Japan were not a danger to the US? For some reason, that I'm sure only your therapist knows, you feel the need to show everyone you are right, albeit on simple technical points. Your argument is boring, nonsensical and pointless.”

No aka JO, just a trail name I use that you seem to find objectionable, showing some latent homophobia there JO, do you have a problem with men who like to smell the flowers?

All I am doing is showing historical papers to show that GWB's policy and behaviour is really no different than that Democrat icon the revered FDR.
MarkO will probably read at least some of the data, and may well come back with counter arguments.

No I am not a know it all, I am simply a person who has learned to read.
But worst of all, I am a person who has a different politcal outlook than you, and you really cannot accept different viewpoints can you ??

Debate is about presenting different viewpoints, checking the facts, and discussing the differences.
It is a mind expanding experience - try it sometime...if you are capable.

If we all though exactly the same it would be a boring world, unless of course we all had the thought processes of Saddam Hussain in which case it would be a brief but frightening world.

Wasn't quite sure where to put this one, but sheesh, I don't want to be on the business end of it.

Anti-war freaks won't be satisfied until the military shoots kisses at the enemy and drive armored Volvos.

The disturbing part for me is not that it shall be used in Iraq. The disturbing part is that the U.S. Marines and police were both working on portable versions. So the next time you go to a GOP convention protest prepare to be microwaved. Dang thing is a tazer on steriods!

It looks like the US has initiated new recruiting techniques: President Bush Addresses the Issue

One of the problems with recruiting is that the economy is doing so well.

That is pretty funny BBW. That's exactly why those recruitment goals are being missed - nothing at all to do with the prospect of being sent to Iraq.

Y2 is wrong, it has nothing to do with dying for a rich man's war, but everything to do with the "strong" economy, like you said.

Hahahahahahahaha (slaps knee) ROTFLMAO!

Whew!

Yep that might explain why we can't make recruiting goals despite lowering them belowthe ones we were making when the economy was even better under Clinton.

Heres a clue:

When you enlist, you pledge yourself to putting yourself on the line as your Commander in Chief sees fit.

It's one thing to have a slutty draft dodger and another who puts far more planning into how to sell the invasion of Iraq, than what to do after the invasion.
