Yeah, I'd be mad too if I came into my establishment and found it looking so messy. Where's the bouncer? Let's kick Wounded Knee out to the curb until he learns about the "width" function.
(Sorry WK, but ya made a mess!)

It would be much more acceptable if it was a giant babe picture, in fact, we probably wouldn't consider the place messy or be having this conversation in the first place.

Yes. Maybe WK could make up for it?

Or might the ladies in the club get offended? Even though they can find some numbnutz to buy them a drink as long as they stick out their boobies...........and they have Ladies night on Thursday.............and the bouncer will let them in with no cover charge.....................

Last night I served "Pimms in a cup" with lemonade. Apparently it's some kind of British crap. The customer didn't know what straight Pimms taste like nor did the bartendar.

So what does "nothing" taste like?

Jeez, I'd love to hang round, but this is a (can you say?) professional development day and the boss just passed by the English teachers' office to make sure we're not playing hooky.

I got him to witness the Alpins Club waiver for the outing to-morrow.

After my TT fix I'll sneak away and drive up to Ste-Adèle and dine in a little hole-in-the-wall of a bakery with a few tables. It's called «Chez Mé-mé» which means 'Granny's Place' and they serve «cuisine provençale» (Southeast of France). I usually eat the 'Navarin', or 'stew of Navarre'.

Navarre was a kingdom of shouthwestern France, west of Provence and is still the home of French rugby. With somewhat different borders it has also been Gascogne and Aquitaine (the last English possession on French territory).

Cyrano de Bergerac (play by Rostand, 1897) was a Gascon and the recent American movie of the same name captures the spirit of the Gascons (ex. 'How can you talk about finding bottles of white wine in the wagon while we're being pursued by the Cardinal's men and will die any moment?

You're right; this calls for red.)

I like to call myself the Gascon of Quebec, even though few people here can understand the dialect.

Navarin is a stew of mutton (some call it lamb here) with turnips; being southern, if not Mediterranean, it has onions, tomatoes and garlic.

I'll sleep at the chalet our club rents for the winter and to-morrow morning I'm off to meet the others for a day of ice climbing near Mont Tremblant.

These are the good years. I earned them and they're paid for.
