Troll of the Year 2004

“It’s time to pick the Troll of the Year Award. There were many good ones and, sadly, too many bad ones to remember. There were many deserving trolls that this is such a hard choice to make. But in the end it can only come down to one single troll. And the winner is…[opening the envelope]…BBW!!

BBW has once again shown that the best trolls come with familiar faces we know and despise. Anyone can create yet another name and start spitting venom but it is the regular poster who gets the job done. He did it without style or feeling as well as respect but he got the job done. A major factor in becoming troll of the year is the category of “Economy of Words”. Who can create the most outrage and fury with the fewest words. BBW wins this hands down. With a simple one liner he is able to stir more crap than 100 of Violin’s cut and pastes could ever do. His greatest achievement in his long, long career came when he posted two short sentences and sent the entire board into a swirling vortex of hate and bile. While this is no great feat in and of itself it is the simple fact he did it from another board all together. So to Bacpac, you hateful bassturd, I say, congratulations and well done on yet another hateful year!

“Marvin, and Dr. Laura in her heyday were the best. But they weren't active this year, so I don't have a strong preference. None of my trolls are worthy of nomination (hangs head in shame - I just can't keep 'em going long before busting myself).

bbw isn't a troll by my definition, and one inch while deserving of bbw's clever pun never really made an impact - no penetrating comments, never made his presence felt on TT in any significant way.”

“One Inch Wang is a great personage but he’s no troll. We have to focus on the true definition of a troll and what his purpose is. BBW beats One Inch Wang hands down (pun intended).”
