“REI is about to have a sale they term a "Garage Sale" where they mark down all clearance still in the shop significantly. Only members can shop the first day, but you just need a friend with a membership to get in according to my local shop. They've already got a lot of rain gear, winter weight jackets, and various weight winter underwear marked to half price or better already. I got a North Face rain jacket for $50.”
