“You could have tried, but the statute of limitations has run out for you, it is most likely a true statement, and you probably don't have enough money to even file, let alone a min of $10K for a legal team.

Either side could have gone as far as to sue for each time the post was viewed, but that would most likely not hold up in court.

I was reading that earlier in washingtonpost.com... pretty interesting. I have often thought about someone doing that to get back at developers, but the developers just claim insurance for the damages and the person who lit it up will probably get caught by homeland security and have to pay millions and do time. If they don't get caught... oh well!
