I guess that puts big Al, in the fine company of Yasar Arifat, and Jimmy Carter. I guess you can't argue with that.

LMAO MarkO at your NYT article!

The thinking of the left just cracks me up!

Seriously, that reads like a comedy to me. LOL! That one is going to make the email rounds ...

Yes, It's A Lovely Opinion Piece !!
And now that Mr. Bush has proved himself utterly the wrong man for the job — to be, in fact, the best president Al Qaeda’s recruiters could have hoped for — the symptoms of Gore derangement syndrome have grown even more extreme.

I've said this once before, but that article reminds me of when the martians decided to create their vision of what an earth woman was ... They think they knew what they looked like, but their perception was off enough that that look ridiculous.

Actually, when I read that part, I knew this guy was nuts. Gore is a joke, much like other lefty spokespeople like Katie Couric, Cindy Sheehan, and Hugo Chavez.

Seriously, can you think of any political figure who is MORE of a hypocrite? There is noone!

That Krugman column pretty well nails it. The right really get hysterical about Gore.

Which brings us to the biggest reason the right hates Mr. Gore: in his case the smear campaign has failed. He’s taken everything they could throw at him, and emerged more respected, and more credible, than ever. And it drives them crazy.

No Prob - globally it's only a tiny and diminishing minority of extremists who feel that way.

It continues to amaze me the venom and hatred sprewed to anyone seem as representative of the left. Presidents and ex-Presidents like Clinton I can at least partially understand - but losing Presidential candidates? Does Bob Dole get this kind of attention?

I don't know what it is - whether you agree or disagree with Carter - he seems like a thoroughly decent man- yet we keep hearing the attacks on him 27 years after he left office.

You couldn't be more wrong HYWAY - I don't think you actually bothered to read what I said, did you?

I said I can understand what's directed at Presidents and former Presidents - as they have so much power and they actually enact policies. So I can see why Clinton is attacked - or at least his policies, expecially while he is in office or shortly after.

With Carter - I can see some might hold objections to his policies, especially those around the hostages - but personal attacks on him 27 years after leaving office are unbelieveable.

Maybe you should learn to read or STFU yourself.

Gore was vice president for a very long time. He was also the democrats choice for president.
He had power and input on policy.

Do you honestly believe all the hateful attacks on Bush (and all the other non-president conservatives) are justified while the ones against democrats are not. That is what you are saying. Sounds a bit biased to me. But of course, you are not biased. What am I saying?

You really don't read do you?

I said the attacks on President were all par for the course. I even gave a specific example of Clinton - you can't seem to grasp this? Can I make it any simpler.

How can I being saying the ones against Democrats aren't justified when I give you a specific example of ones that I expect?

What part of this don't you understand?

So I can see why Clinton is attacked

Lets put it another way - you think Bob Dole would attract this much hatred from the left if he were to win this prize? Dan Quayle might, but that would largely be in a comedy form.

Maybe if Bush senior was rewarded for his work following the Tsunami? I just can't see it.

One head of a Socialist State, one talking head and another whose an opportunist.

Hardly a spokesperson for the "Left".

Grouping all of those people together in order to try and make the "Left" look bad is something you must have heard on Rush.
