anyone backpacking anywhere cool over the holiday? I'm looking for a place to backpack over New Years Weekend. The trip to the Whites sounds cool but it's a little far away.”

“awww ENS chill... we all have our days. I love gear, I buy gear all the time. The other day I noticed that I have more gear in my closet then up-to-date regular clothing. I felt guilty because I spend a bunch of money on a blouse that I will only wear when I go out...like in a bar or so. (Ha, ask me when I was in a bar for the last time??...I think 2 years ago or so MAYBE)

I love to go backpacking...and I go as much as I can. I dayhike, but I don't post many dayhike TR's because well...they are local. Not much to tell...

in my next life (heeheehee) I want to be a mountaineer that knows how to ride a scooter, because I don't think I know how to drive one. Fell of one once and hit a bunch of parked motorcycles. Not saying that I want to mountaineer with my scouter now, okay!!

I want to be able to backpack whenever I want to. Hmm...that would mean A LOT!!I like my job to be outdoor related.

I haven't been backpacking for 20 years yet, in fact, I've barely been alive that long, but one day I'll be a veteran and hopefully welcome the newbies with a Miller Highlife, pull off the Jack bottle or other intoxicating substance.
