Should I feel bad that my mom could kick my ass in a sword fight?

My mom could take your mom in a fight. She is death personified with a wooden kitchen spoon!

My kids refer to the wooden spoon as the Disney paddle. It was purchased just before a trip to Disney.

LOL>.Dayhiker......ask my kids about wooden spoons..LOL.....I always carried one in the car too.......one time I used a spatula on my one I love dearly but refer to as "the evil one" for VERY good reasons......and she had an imprint on "Rubbermaid" on her backside.......

And why do grandparents always wanna get grandkids those paddles with the rubber ball and rubber bands on them? Don't they know what they get used for 10 minutes after the ball flies off?

They also call it the spanking spoon. Sometimes time out works best and sometimes the swat. It's funny how you can read the situation and know exactly which method will best get their attention.

Not so subtle hints...
Recently, I was in a Hallmark "Gold Crown" store, that a friend owns. A customer ahead of me was buying multiple gifts ($200+) for wedding anniversary and Christmas. As he was checking out he was asked if he had a "Gold Crown" card. At first he said "no," but then remembered that his wife had attached a card to his key ring! (Hint, hint). It was too funny.
