dammit!

does it have to be dotted?

i guess i never tried before, b/c i can't get it either. it's very easy to change the color, thickness, and hatching inside, or just a bare outline.

but it doesn't wanna let ya change the line style of a polygon theme.

i'll ask one the experts and get back to ya, there should be a way...

Yup, I figured out how to change the line weights, but its the dotted line that has me (and looks like you) stumped.

click on the edit tools side bar.
the free demo should work for you unless you've got a huge polygon with over a 100 verticies.

Driver Has 18 Times Legal Alcohol Limit

VILNIUS, Lithuania

Lithuanian police were so astonished when they pulled over a truck driver and his breathalyzer test registered 18 times the legal alcohol limit, they thought their testing device must be broken. It wasn't.

Police said Tuesday 41-year-old Vidmantas Sungaila registered 7.27 grams per liter of alcohol in his blood repeatedly on different devices when he was pulled over for driving his truck down the center of a two-lane highway 60 miles from the capital, Vilnius on Saturday.

Lithuania's legal limit is 0.4 grams per liter.
...

Medical experts say anything above 3.5 grams per liter of alcohol in the blood is lethal for most people.

easy killer, let's not jump the gun here. i think there should be some ground rules to join. we must, after all, maintain the dignity and prestige of the GGC above all else. we can't just go around letting any ol' drunken bum in.

rule #1 one must consume double the average lethal BAC limit in less than 10 minutes. None of those long weekend benders resulting in a slow, gradual, BAC assent should count, eh?

rule #2 once the appropriate BAC is achieved, one must continue consuming alcohol at a respectable level, maintaining an air of confidence and respectability. a slight slurring of speech and inflated sense of self worth are acceptable, but the probationary GGC must perform this task "easily", eh?

rule #3 age limit ~25. we must set an age limit to exclude life long alcoholics and general bums. let's keep this club reserved to fairly inexperienced and impressionable youths, eh?

I have yet another ArcView question.
Is there a way to automatically add a UTM grid to a map or do I have to manually “draw” one in. I’ve been working with aerial photomaps and would like to accurately match the info on the photo to a topo map.

No problem. I'm in no rush with this. I'm using the info as an aid for finding some good bushwhack routes.

zac, ygm. sent you a grid. you have to maunually adjust it a little bit to get it the way you want based on the scale of your map and location, but it's not too hard to adjust.
