If Farrakan and nation of Islam exclude Whites from their events, I'd deny them a public permit.

SS/GG: How do you know the party affiliation of the rioters, let alone if they are liberals?

It's one thing to say a march is on behalf of White people, or Black people - another thing to exclude others from the March on the basis of race.

If you keep chanting that mantra long enough you'll reach entitlement!

I'm sorry if you feel Liberals were amongst those who spoiled the party planned by the Conservative Christian Patriots in the American Nazi movement. They must all be Republicans, too. My evidence? I'll see your "common sense" and raise you the fact that they admit to being Christian Conservative Patriots.

Crud, I'm not having any fun with this extremist stereotyping and spin, but here ya go?

(And you still haven't thanking me for helping you out by pointing out that the Mayor was black Democrat. Why do you cling so tenaciously to spurious conclusions based on your stereotypes, when the rebutttal to USA can be made air tight based on facts? Or are you no more interested in facts than USA)

Its a shame those conservatives weren't permitted to speak.

One of those groups had a rally near here some years ago and I heeded appeals by cooler heads to ignore them. (I really did want to pelt them with rocks though.)

Ohio Police Arrest Woman For $1 In Unpaid Taxes

LOVELAND, Ohio -- An Ohio woman was arrested after she didn't pay just more than $1 that she owed in income taxes, WLWT-TV in Cincinnati reported.

Deborah Combs owed the city of Loveland $1.16 last year, but she also hadn't filed her city income tax forms in five years, the television station said.

She said officers pulled her over and acted as though she were a violent criminal.

"One sheriff approached my car with his hand on his gun," she said. "Another from the other side of the car leaned in and said, 'Are you Deborah Combs?' He said, 'We have a warrant for your arrest.' I was absolutely shocked."

Heck, Vile, The New York Times has the same standards as The Weekly World News, but just not as much fun.

Hard Hitting????????
Karl Rove's Garage Proves to Be Typical

By DARLENE SUPERVILLE
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON

He is "the architect" who steered George W. Bush to victory four times, twice as Texas governor and twice as president.

But can Karl Rove organize his own garage? Can the master of Bush's political planning figure out where to put the ladders, paint cans and cardboard boxes?

Rove's wife, Darby, raised the white garage door one morning last week to show journalists outside the million-dollar brick home that the deputy chief of staff, assistant to the president and senior adviser wasn't home. All the interest came on the eve of his testimony Friday before a grand jury investigating who in the White House might have revealed the identity of a CIA operative.

There was no car in the garage. And the stuff left behind turned out not to be much different from what gathers dust inside most American garages.

The inventory, seen from outside:

_Some cardboard file boxes stacked one on top of the other, labeled "Box 6," "Box 4" and what appears to be "Box 7." No sign of boxes 1, 2, 3 and 5.

_What appear to be paint cans stacked alongside a folded, folding chair.

_A rather large wood crate marked "FRAGILE" and painted with arrows indicating which way is up. On top of the crate, two coolers.

_A tall aluminum ladder.

_A snow shovel leaned in front of another cardboard box.

_Wicker baskets inside of wicker baskets on top of a shelf running the length of the rear wall. Transparent plastic storage bins crammed with indiscernible stuff. Another cardboard box.

_In one corner, the rear wheel of a bicycle sticks out, along with what appears to be a helmet.

_Another ladder, this one green, leaning sideways.

After the Judith Miller episode, I'm inclined to agree with you on this one Stovey. Besides, they got it wrong again - the garage was only half empty: http://www.mph-online.com/web/celebs/0015

Hold up there spankey! There's a trick libbies use when they don't want to admit they read Drudge. They read the Drudge link, then they search for another one. I noticed this years ago. Vileman does that. What? You thought he just happened to find that local news story which just happened to be referenced from Drudge? LOL. Right.

Unless maybe Vileman (from NJ) often does local searches on Ohio news. Maybe. Could be. Or, maybe he used Drudge on a regular basis.

BTW - I noticed USA does that too.

This whole Toledo thing is really weird.

My wife and I go down there pretty regularly for dinner and shopping. They have a really great Metroparks system.

One thing that is interesting about Toledo is that it still has large populations of both black and white residents. Right now, the city has a black mayor running for reelection against a white former mayor.

So, I think that tensions were probably high. The police were incompetent in this situation. Then, you throw in groups of wackos in a residential neighborhood and I guess this is what you get.

I don't think that it is a liberal/conservative thing at all. I think that it was a bunch of stupid people on all sides doing lots of stupid things.

Oh, and we're planning to go to Toledo next weekend. It's a good city.

BTW, the Toledo Public Schools are a rarity. They have had consistently improving test scores. They are the only urban district in Ohio for which this is true.

In the USA Today, Lucas County - the home of Toledo - is in the second tier of four in terms of early adoption of technology.

And who can forget the Mud Hens? International League champs!

Ohio University campus closed due to an unknown "suspicious item" found on campus. Experts brought in reveal the item to be a textbook.
