“There is a map of the entire Monongahela National Forest available from the forest Hq in Elkins. I think it costs about $6. It is not, however, a good trail map.

Best bet is to get the USGS maps for that area, or download them from the net. I will try to print out some extra maps of the immediate area when I get directions and places of interest ready to go.

From the campground, you go out to the river and go left to get downstream. Go right to go upstream.”
