Seneca Rocks is one of the Wonders Of West Virginia and is about 25-30 miles away.

“Well - you take your headlamp and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and go underground into a dark cave.

In the one we went to, the underground stream that had created the cave was still active.

A couple bats in there usually. They'll leave you alone.

It's interesting to see the formations.

Sometimes lots of crawling around on hands and knees or scurrying along walls, etc, or just plain low-crawling. Wasn't a whole lot of that in the one we went to.

You should try it. It wasn't as dirty as I thought it was going to be. The cave we were at was pretty "hardened".”
