Of course we can pee in the river. It's Bubya's drinking water, so I imagine a lot of people will want to do that.

nvwoti,

That, I guess, would be a fair price range for the campsite. It all depends on how many people show up though.
Wounded Knee

It might shake out to about $20 per person.

Only Geo knows...
MarkO

We will not know for sure until we get there and see how many actually show up. I'm guessing the cost will be between $20 and $30, probably on the lower end if the count holds up.

The campground cost about $344, so if we divide that among 10 people it would come to $34.40 apiece. I know we will have at least twice that much, so it will likely break out to something like $15 a head.

The other method is to charge per tent site, which would cost families less and single people more.

Or we could use a two-tier system and charge one price for families and half that for singles.

Anybody want to chime in on this?

I like having a per person rate.
markO

Do you charge for children $10 as well. I need to know this kind of thing. Chili and I will be bringing our 3 children. 2 girls (10 & 11) and our son (15). Is anyone else bringing kids this age. Mine really would like to know. Please email me and let me know.... Luckybdm1971@aol.com

Do we know what everyone is cooking? Maybe we can do a potluck one nite.

There will be kids in that general age grouping.

Pot luck will be the cookoff Saturday night.

About cost, a per person rate makes it prohibitive for families. A per site rate increases the cost for singles.

I really think a family rate and a single rate at half the family rate is more fair all around.

We won't know the exact cost until we take a count of who actually shows up, but I'm thinking it will still be under $30 for a family.

I have no problem paying what the family rate is Geo. We will talk more about it on Thursday.

Yes, the point is that enough of us are showing up that the cost should break down pretty nicely so nobody gets soaked.
