“Sorry folks, I had to cancel the trip due to recent surgery which according to the doctor will not heal in time for this trip. As there was only 1 other committed (Blalock) at the time and he will be with relatives for the holidays i decided to axe it in time for anyone interested to make other plans. Everyone please have a happy and safe holiday season.”

I may end up car camping at Cades Cove campgrounds for a few days. Hit some of the trails around that area. Drive over to Newfound Gap and take the AT to Clingmans Dome or Charlies Bunion.
