I can agree with AS on that one. Try using chunky style PB and make sandwich cookies.

Trust me, I'm a teacher and cannot lie.
Hard salami or pepperoni, sliced thin, peanut butter and pita bread. High calories, extremely packable and lightweight - not to mention delicious.

No-one believes me until I make someone taste it at gunpoint.

Also, peanut butter does not completely freeze.

Yeah sure...try squeezing peanut butter out at 4 degrees...it just aint gonna happen. I will try your suggestion though.

Nutella with crunchy peanut butter.

Don't bother with the crackers...

Skippy sells PB in a squeeze tube.
I take it all the time.

I also can vouch for PB and Pepperoni in a pita or tortilla.

Add raisens to the pb and graham crackers.

Pink, yes you can. Coghlans makes refillable squeeze tubes. If you nuke the PB or nutella for a few seconds it pours in the tubes easily.
The tubes are easily cleaned with a bottle brush.

I've only tried Hershey syrup for chocolate human spread.

Spirit, peanut butter doesn't freeze, but it does get too hard to squeeze out of a tube. I double bag it in two ziplocks.

Trust me, but don't use only one ziplock - ever.

Have you ever tried peanut butter and chocolate?

...oh wait, nevermind; that already exists. It's called Reese's. Speaking of which, my new favorite trail food is Peanut M&M's...
