I got a large roll of it and it was cheap.” 12:31:52 PM 12/16/04 “depends what the gift is too I think...” 12:34:10 PM 12/16/04 “Ha Ha. On a more serious note/question - I've switched to ribbed just for the hell of it. Does that do anything for the ladies? last edited: 12/16/04 12:37:49 PM” 12:35:48 PM 12/16/04 “How about : Tube Socks tied with ribbon? If you are careful to not wrinkle the foil they look pretty darn cool.” 2:37:07 PM 12/16/04 “No Way! I aws just wrapping presents today, I started out with newspaper... but that was quite boring, so I glanced around the room and saw the NOLS Catalogs sitting out, paged through them and found that there was many full page pictures of things like mountain ranges, waterfalls, beaches etc. So I cut each page out, ended up with about 10 full size pictures and rewrapped all of my presents thinking to myself "I'm going to have the coolest wrapping paper this year"” 3:15:45 PM 12/16/04 “Since my tree is white with all purple and gold, I wrap everything in purple and gold...I get some of those Purple paper bags and dress then up with purple ribbons and lace...and that wire stuff with stars on it...and beads...and tinsel......gold stars....snowflakes..... and then my kids come and have all diff kind of paper and ruins my theme!!!....but I'll forgive them.....” 4:39:21 PM 12/16/04 “I wrapped a friends Christmas gift with the centerfold pull out from a Playboy once.” 4:40:42 PM 12/16/04 “Vikings fan are we div?” 5:17:00 PM 12/16/04 “Vikings???..who are they????..Oh they wear those wonderful horn hats!!!...way cute..... Nooo..I just love purple......” 6:04:35 PM 12/16/04 “The way you describe your christmas tree sounds like a tree that you'd see walking into a hardcore vikings fan... Who are the Vikings? last edited: 12/16/04 6:09:11 PM” 6:07:38 PM 12/16/04 “div likes large horns.” 6:14:48 PM 12/16/04 “Vikings: Bear food.” 7:08:14 PM 12/16/04 “For thirty years my family has wrapped gifts in newspaper.” 7:16:58 PM 12/16/04 “I used to use the comics, but since we haven't subscribed to a newspaper in years, it's kind of hard to do these days... :-) I've even wrapped presents (that are large or extra bulky) in large white kitchen garbage bags (or other colors if I have them!). Of course, you usually have to use a couple of them, if you use the white ones (or you can see the gift inside!) I just gather the open end together and tie it with a big bow. Then trim the top and fluff it out so that it looks a little prettier.... You can re-cycle and use the bag in your smaller waste baskets... :-)” 9:25:58 AM 12/17/04 “leftover wallpaper, comics... I used to save the wrappers from reams of paper to wrap with, there were nice designs on the back side. I still use the white stuff and put stickers on it. I save the tissue wrap that comes in packages or that stores use for glass. Cute StoveStomper! My whole office is drunk, LOL... and thank-you! :)” 11:48:16 AM 12/17/04 “Placemats make nice wrappers as well... tie them up like a tootsie roll and you can wrap all sorts of funny shapes in them!” 12:03:35 PM 12/17/04 “I used to take old cards and cut out the pictures to make gift tags...” 12:11:34 PM 12/17/04
