Its friggin cold

“My little home weather station says its a balmy 1.7 degrees fahrenhiet right now, we hit a balmy 9.6 this afternoon in the sun. Kinda chilly to say the least.”

“that is cold. It managed to struggle up to 16 degrees here..but the sun was out so it was worth it. How is sass's foot?”

I took the dog for a walk this afternoon and failed to check the temp before leaving. I thought I was overdressed only to find out it was friggin' COLD. When I got back to the house it was 9F. =80”

“My dog didnt mind the cold, I let her run loose in the woods and she had a blast running around in the snow. (she was under voice control the whole time, for you people who worry about that kind of thing)”

“I finally too the air conditioner out of my window. I don't know why I waited so long considering I haven't had a need to use it since July. It got up to about 32 today, just enough to keep the snow on the ground.”

“I live in a very drafty house on a slab lol My kitchen is FREEZING. we had to put a sheet up in the door way from the kitchen to the main part of the house to help cut down on the draft and to keep our zoo warmer (heck they even get their own heaters too) this place is looking like a pet store lol

“It's up to 14F, pretty warm after yesterday's -18. I had a chuckle when my computer reading said -18, but only "feels like" -17F. I looked at the outdoor thermometer and it was also -18. Stepping outside I hade to agree, "Yup it only feels like -17F", lol.”

This morning, its so cold out the beeper on the side door at work barely made a sound.”

“Nimblefoot, love my wood stove. It was 6 degrees this morning (MD/PA line) and inside it was still 70 even though the fire was down to a small bed of coals. Stoked it up before I left for work. Propane guage on my tank has hardly budged since they filled it in October. :-)”

“My passenger side door was frozen closed this morning (15 F here) when I tried to open it to put a package in. I got almost to work before the latch unfroze and the door popped open a little when I was doing about 75 mph. That woke me up.”
