“there is a ,month to go before this trip. It's just been really warm here the last couple of days. Any ice up there is probably melted or melting. I think, come February and time for the trip, there will be lotsa ice.”

“I just did a map quest for Rickets Glen, it's about a 3 hour ride for me, not too bad.”

“Ricketts Glen isn't too far from anywhere and is a pretty easy drive. You have to drive straight up the mountainside on PA 487 and I imagine that could be interesting if the roads are bad. It's pretty steep going up.”
