Suggestions for a good parka length coat?
Suggestions for a good parka length coat? I'm in the market and most of the coats I've had recommended to me are just over waist length. I want one that covers my butt and can be unzipped up from the bottom so I can lift my legs up high when hiking up steep inclines. It should have a drawcord or something at the waist to prevent drafting when I'm not active and it's cold/windy. Armpit zips are a must also... or some other way of venting as I heat up easily. Waterproof of course, but it doesn't have to be real thick, I can add layers under it. If it is thick it shouls have a zip out layer for the "active" part of the climb.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

I have something like this, pit zips, draw string waist, wind and water proof. Doesn't zip up from the bottom though, but if you draw in the waist up high during a climb, it might do the trick. Hope this helps.
