Great Party
Hey I cleaned up the kitchen before I left this morning!!!! A little contribution for arriving empty handed.
Can't believe I am not hungover, must have been the Vitamin water I drank before the party. Feeling a bit shakey still though.
This morning when Maple's friend Lisa crawled out of the basement she says "we(she and her hubby) don't "get" hangovers)when I said "haha, you will probably be the only one w/o a hangvoer today"
Apparently it is because she takes care of business before going to sleep

WS, thanks so much. Sorry I missed you guys this morning. I heard you folks talking from upstairs when I got up. What I did was showered real fast and then I came down to cook everyone breakfast. But, you were all gone by the time I got there. I should have popped in before showering, I guess.

Well, gosh, I was banging around pots and pans, and platters and stuff....was meeting my friends for jazz brunch at Cajun

Hey, I had a great time, was fun meeting all the new people and also remeeting and getting to know the Tree family and the MarkO family

I am the only one with a "Clove Lake Trail report" I took a nice walk in the park across from the treehouse just before dark, there was a frozen pond, dam, babbling brook complete with waterfowl, lots of snow and ice everywhere. The Tree family is very lucky indeed to have that in their front yard

Sigh! Just looking at the Tree Bar. It looks so empty without Lisa and WinterSolstice guarding it!

Official booze tally:

Just put the bottles in the recycle bags.

5 cases of beer
7 bottles of wine (2 big and 5 small)
1 1/2 bottles of Amaretto
1 bottle Chivas
1/2 bottle of Cutty Sark
1 bottle Absolut
1/2 Bottle Rain Vodka
1 1/2 bottle of Kahlua
Whatever was left of the Baileys and the Godiva chocolat liqueur

Geez!!!

Janet and Vickie and I had nothing to do with the condition of Lisa, she showed up late in the game and couldn't "run with the big dogs"

Yeah, poor Lisa. I felt for her...

Hmm, forgot about calling Roamaround. We should have kept with tradition there.

Wow, webshots is slow tonight. Took all that time to load the pics and there are not a real lot of them. Now, Maple normally takes enough pics at any event to fill a sizable fraction of cyberspace. Well, I guess she picked my 50th birthday to decide to take a sabbatical on picture taking! Anyway, there aren't a real lot, but I will be getting fed more from some of the guests in the next day or two. Anyway, a lot of these pics are taken with people posing in the hippy van facade that Twignut and Maple made. Anyway, they did a great job. Decorated the walls with landmark 60's event summaries, had everybody sign a beautifully decorated scrap book for me, handed out cards with a popular 60's phrases on it that the partyers would use in conversation throughout the evening and ideas like that. Great party! Great people! All I can say is I feel good inside. Thanks to all my friends, family and well wishers alike. You all helped make this the best birthday...

i had every intention of calling roam around in the throes of the party, but my celly was two floors up, and the music and laughter would have made it difficult
