There was snow on the north slopes of Roan last week. It should still be some there.

All Gone as Far North as Vermont
Rainstorms came through last Friday melting every last bit of snow away. As I sit here right now at 1 AM, it's still almost 50*F out right now in New Jersey -- insanely warm for January.

Thanks for all the information. Karo, Roan sounds good maybe a new storm in a week or two. Ruby never ventured up there, where do I need to fly into (what major city) I can rent a car a hit the road for a day or two, to take a few shots. Farms, covered bridges, rolling hills, this is what I'm looking for. Any ideas. I would like to stay in the east.

Snowed all DAY here yesterday! But we only got about 4 inches accumulation here in Loveland. I bet the lower mountains are COVERED with the stuff though.

After being in the White Mountains of NH and around VT and NH last weekend, the snow is not here. I think the upper elevations of the White Mountains had maybe 6" on the ground. Very disappointing.

It's pretty much the same in the Adirondacks, very little snow and a lot of ice.

Snowed all day here - but it was so fine and so FREAKING COLD that there isn't much accumulation. Supposed to warm up to 15 tonight though!

We got 4 inches since yesterday, but I doubt it will last very long since they are calling for temps in the 50's next week.

The Catskills at 1750' had about 4" on Weds and maybe 6" more on Thursday. Probably ployed 10" or so today out of my driveway (& neighbord).

Luckily they told me to come in 9-5 today instead of 3-11. (AM that is)

We're supposed to get 5-9" today in my neck of the woods. I'm not holding my breath for it, though.

We have snow on glare ice. :-) How lovely!! And I see last night tallies in this little corner of the world (SE MN/NE IA/W Central WI) ranged from 4-13"

I had to take a picture of seven people ranging in age up to their 80s yesterday, men and women, candidates for a local snow fest, actually polar plunge, at the end of the month. I made them go outside in the snow. LOL! We got a cute shot as it was snowing. :-)
