Could you do me a HUGE favor?

Once upon a time I was trying to buy a few PT shirts and sweatshirts from the 1/506th (CURRAHEE) S-4 up at Camp Greaves. I lost touch with them and haven't been able to talk to anyone up there in a while. Do you think there is any way you could put me in contact with them or find out how I could make that purchace? I would greatly appriciate it.

Is camp Liberty Bell still there? How about the dogs, have dogs increased in population??

IM JIM RIVER STILL FULL OF MINES????

I never got to see southern KOREA, Only when I landed in country in SEOUL then to the NORTH, Looking at the NORTH KOREAN . I had a Krypto clearence. I remember watching a south korean boy take a dump in a village then scoop it up in a paper bag and put it on his BIKE, and his bike looked like a half ton truck loaded with boxes.

All the women there were VIRGINS or thats what they told me or a PAPASON,
Never did see many dogs while there.
The meat we ate was good though.

I'm sure KOREA has changed much and much more advanced . I never did fool around with the women there, I went on sick call once and the Pennicillian line was longer than the FLUE< COLD BROKEN BODY line
Silver Bullet is what we called it.
In the field we had what we called slicky boys, very young Korean boys who would collect our brass when firing weapons before the brass hit the ground, then run off to sell.

Ain't like it used to be at all. Very Westernized. I was here before in the mid 80's and know what you speak of. No more BomBom girls ant more. The vills outside of the Camps are strictly controlled and policed

Thanks oleretiredmarine.
We had a brand new private lose his left foot to a toe popper up near the DMZ in 95. There were mines washed down from the hills after the monsoons.

We called theives slickey boys. They were fond of sensitive items and personal effects.

apparently the USS MCCain has stopped monitoring the NK ship going to Burma...the reports say they passed control off to the USS McCampbell...I don't know...do you think maybe the McCain just kinda FORGOT it was watching the ship? (LOL)

The USS MCCain is a 'young' ship. It was built in Bath, Maine not to long ago.

Of course, stovie conveniently overlooks the fact that althought the rocket might have the range of Hawaii, it has the accuracy of a dart being thrown the length of a football field by a drunken man that is near sighted.

Right wing radio loves to create the "fear". The hosts there pay their mortgages and buy their fancy Mercedes by causing people to stock up on food and ammuntion.

Git chur gunz!

I think we're all aware of Pyongang's laying the groundwork for Kim Jong Jr. to assume the throne from his stroked-out dad. Can't have a new leader taking over is the country is percieved as "weak," so they're ramping up the lip service, detonating a few atomic bombs and firing off a few short-range missles to show what big cheeses they are. They know they could be annihilated in a heartbeat, but this is all part of the international chess game.

While the accuracy of the newest Taepodong2 is likely not good, no one knows for sure. If it can reach most of the American West, it's small comfort for some dumbass to say "don't worry - they won't hit what they're aiming at".

Estimates are it can only hit on the narrow of the earth's circumfrence--Alaska. From a backpacking perspective, that would suck. From a casualty aspect, the population is sparse. Then North Korea glows for 100 years.

Depends on the rocket and the estimate. I've seen estimates for the 3 stage rocket at 10 - 15 thousand kilometers, enough to put the West Coast in range.

Rosey may actually have a pretty good take on the reasons. IF the Troll is getting ready to pass on power. Its a hell of a lot easier to fight off "pretenders to the throne" of you have a "NATIONAL CRISIS" to use to protect you.
Heck if someone trys to move in you accuse them of "Western Espionage" and they are starving in a mining camp on the North Korean border.

Near misses by a nuke aren't important according to the libbies.

It should've been taken care of on Bush's watch after 9/11, instead of the Iraq war.
