I need a new monitor. My monitor on the computer I do most of my work is about to die. Color is already sort of green, and once in a while you'll see horizonal stripes. Weird.

anyway...I can't make up my mind:

and a dell:

I need a big screen with best quality possible for least amount of money.

I really don't want or can't spend more then $700...but the 24 inch from dell maybe worth it. I can't really find many reviews on the dell, so I don't know.

I saw a couple reviews on the Samsung that sounded pretty good.

anyone can give me a good monitor referral?

like I said, it should be at least 20inches, and have a very sharp picture, but I don't want to spend $2,000 either. $700 really should be the max. Less is better.

yes, the widescreen version - same model line

you may consider bigger if you can afford it - the quality is so good, my wife and I use it to watch movies on - if you go bigger you may enjoy it as a second tv (for DVD or for downloaded movies - I use MovieLink)

just make sure your video card is fairly recent and can support the native resolution
