No one will get stranded. here's the plan, I'll meet up with Phantom, we'll hook up with Atimus and drive to get ENS. 4 seats, 4 hikers, 4 packs, no problem. Somebody better bring some beer though for friday night. I get awful thirsty driving. ;-)

*Who will get early dismissal from work?

Ok....i'm chillin' out now brothers...

I'm not sure when i'll be on the road yet...won't know until next week probably...

Scorchy....she's not sure if she's going yet....soooo...as soon as she makes a decision then that'll also add to our logistical calculations....

If possible, we can all meet up along the way and caravan down....your call mates...

So far it's just three of us jersey folk, and ENS. Your included in the four I can fit in my Explorer Sport. I just have to unload the Ricketts Glen stuff (I'm so lazy). As the trip gets closer, we'll make definite arrangements.

I'm looking at getting out around 2-3 PM that Friday right now. It really depends on how well I manage to get into work in the morning all that week (something I haven't been too good at in the past...)

THat's a weird post, jerbear.

Some of us will be at the mid-point around noon Friday.

The road into that spot is a slow winding way to go.

If necessary some of us will drive up to the north end to pick up those who spend the night there.

The party will be at the mid-point, though.

Watch Out! The campsite near the communications tower is haunted. Geobeet took me there some time ago and the place gave me the heebie jeebies. The freaks built pointy backed chairs out of rocks and there is even an alter of stone where they sacrifice god knows what. LOL

What I loved about North Fork Mountain was the quiet. Peace and quiet. Other than the haunted campsite, the hike is awesome. Have a great time. I don't recall there being very many water sources though. I could be wrong.

The water sources are about none.

There's a good buncha camp sites where the north bound trail leaves the road.

Sh*t
Bad news for me. I just got an overtime job that is going to last around five weeks. That's going to knock me out of four trips I was looking forward to. I'm in construction and I have to take the work when it's available. Sorry to have to bail on you guys. I hope to see you on the trail in the near future. Have a great time. I'll be checking in to see how thing go.
