Waterfalls of Sequoia NP

“Spent the day in Sequoia on Saturday 8)

Hiked in to Marble Falls, 3.7 miles one way
with a 2,550' elevation gain. After a week of gloomy weather down here in the valley it was nice to be above the haze/fog and into the sunshine! The weather was gorgeous!!! The trail starts at 2,000' and ends up at 4,550'

I brought a turkey sandwich along and ate it next to this waterfall just above Marble Falls...

It was a very nice lunch spot :)
After lingering a while by the thunderous waterfalls I headed back to the truck.

“I played hookie from work today and went back to Sequoia NP. The San Jaoquin Valley continues to lay under a blanket of clouds while the Sierra is sunny and warm!

“Kathy- I would say only 3'-4' at Giant Forest.

Karen- we were supposed to go to Glacier Point two Years ago but altered our plans and went to Taft Point. Last year I day hiked/snowshoed out to Dewey Point with Navi and Trailbum.”
