“I'd like to get to Big South Fork someday. They have beautiful gorges there, including the South Fork of the Cumberland River as it cuts through the Cumberland Plateau. Supposed to be a really awesome place to hike. Knoxville, TN would be a killer city to live in. Smokies to the south and Big South Fork to the North, Roan to the East and Frozen Head and Fall Creek Falls to the west.”

“Charit Creek Lodge is in western part Big South Fork National River and Reacreation Area just south of the Kentucky state line. From State Route 154 turn right on Divide Road, then right on Fork Ridge Road to the Charit Creek Trail Head. From the trail head it about 1 mile to Charit Creek Lodge.”
