Almost turned on the AC today

“Is this really January? It was 83F along the coastline in Southern California today. You could look up and see the snow capped mountains that surround the Los Angeles basin while you were walking around in a t-shirt. That "AC" switch on the thermostat looked mighty tempting when I got home! Anyone else have this "problem?"”

“Even here in central Fla it's cold!!! It's supposed to hit a low of 37 F tonight.”

“it was below zero with the wind here yesterday, Coulda hung a side of beef in my work van (thats with the heat on too!)”

“The thought crossed my mind - heat wave coming through, almost got up to 20 degrees yesterday.”

“I still haven't even turned my heat on this winter. My apt is insulated really well plus I get the sun all day long. The low so far this yr is around 10° Nashville usually never gets that cold of weather. The coldest I can remember was -23° here many yrs ago”

“Sunday I had trouble keeping my apartment warm - had my heater on high, and I had a small electric heater pointed at me most of the day... my apartment is insulated poorly, poor windows, bad doors... the air kinda flows through - at -40, its tough to stay warm”
