“hey dude. do you still want me to pick you up for trail days? if so, i need you to be ready as early as you can the morning of Friday the 13th, so wherever you are the night of the 12th, be sure its a short walk to the road. in a couple of weeks, you should be able to predict where you will be by then, so let me know where to pick you up as soon as you know so i can plan the drive. there will be one other thru-hiker from last year (captain hook) with me, so it should be a blast! good luck, watch out for bears!”

“That's it exactly. When I posted pictures of my house in my profile last night, I didn't post a picture of the bathroom because she wouldn't get out of the tub. Naturally I did take her picture but how it got online I'll never know. All new homes in Wisconsin come with one of these. I'll let mine go with the property since I can easily acquire another.”

“Hey Nimblefoot, I hiked with a thru-hiker from the class of 2005 on Saturday. Her name is Vision Quest. She said she met you in Pearisburg and again in CT. She was the only African American female thru-hiker in 2005. Do you remember her? She said to say hi to you. She finished her thru-hike on September 28.

I hiked with her on the AT from Blackhorse Gap to US 220 in Cloverdale.

“I do remember her. A nice person. How's it going with you? I'm almost finished with moving out of the old house. I'll do some cleaning today, shampoo carpets tomorrow and Wednesday is the garage and picking up the yard. Thursday is who knows what and Friday is closing on the sale. I've just found a new place to buy so I get to do it all over again in a couple of months. How are you at heavy lifting?

Today is my daughters' birthday. She's 33.

“The Homeplace was everything you said it would be! The waitress commented to us that she hoped they were the best restaurant off the trail. I told her that that thru-hikers consider eating there a rite of passage and a privilege. I love southern cookin'.

Oh, and the hike wasn't bad either. We hiked south on the AT from Cloverdale to Campbell Creek shelter, about 15 miles. Nearly killed me too. Next morning we climbed up to McAfee Knob. I sat out on the end, but didn't hang my foot over the edge like your crazy a$$. LMAO!”

I am writing on behalf of the Dept. to make you aware of an incident today involving one of our issued laptops. Said laptop is issued to our employee, known on this forum as, GNM. Please be aware the Dept is asking you be a more responsible poster in the future. Possibly you can preface your posts that may result in spewage of coffee with a Warning of some sort? We would appreciate your cooperation. Posts such as the one listed below, resulting in laughter resulting in spewage can wreck havoc on an employee's productivity throughout the remainder of the workday. Employee, GNM's laptop was salvageable on this occassion however we may not be so fortunate should this occur again.

I had a similar unexpected explosion in my pants when I was 12 or 13. Life hasn't been the same since:)”
