How was I to know I was talking about Treebeard's post? I saw treebeard's post and I thought I let that one pass. I thought I was responding to your obvious glee over treebeard's post. Thanks for setting me straight. I appreciate the service.

Breathe Geo, breathe.

Geo, I am guilty of liking puns and thinking they are funny.
I apologize if you think I meant my comment as a personal putdown, because I did not.
I'm sorry.

How? Put the hormone in your neighbors house/apt so they leave your place alone?

Or in the middle of a roach motel, sticky pad, etc.

What would be real fun would be to put it in a device that required the roaches to crawl over electrical contacts to get to the bait. Zap!

Down here, that's entertainment!

LOL!

I'm just thinking you might not want to do anything extra to attract them?

Less of a problem in single-family dwellings, but in an apartment situation, I can see what you mean. We all know that they just run from one apartment to the other when the bug man comes around to spray.

I can always tell when a neighbor moves in the summer.

So, does the bug man knock once and then just come on in up there?
bitpusher

They spray about once a month. More if you have a sighting.

It was worse when I lived right between the Potomac & the C&O Canal: "Waterbugs" up the Wazoo!

Now I just get the "regular sized" ones.

Yah, but what I meant was, how much warning do you get if you happen to be home when they come around?

When I lived in an apartment, the guy basically knocked on the door, opened it, said "Bug man" and came in.
