only pick one. Which one are you really wanting to go visit and explore?

Lot tougher question than it seems. I still haven't decided which one.

I do not differentiate between National and State parks or State Forests, but Grand Canyon would be my pick.

Have been to (in sort of order)
Roosevelt National Forest - Indian Pks Colorado.

11 New Jersey State parks
1 for climbing
1 for sailing
1 canoeing
5 backpacking

Tonto National Monument Az.

Catskill State Park NY
Adirondacks NY (hiking and climbing)

White Mountain National Forest NH

Sproul State forest PA
Ralph Stover PA (climbing)

Shasta-Trinity State Forest Ca.
Big basin Redwoods State park Ca.

I'm still a Yellowstone fan. I've only scratched the surface of its backcountry trails. There are loads of geysers (or geezrs) way off road that most people never see.

aero, back when I was in high school I almost took a summer job at Yellowstone. Wish I had taken it :(

Does Yellowstone still post jobs across the country looking for students to work summers?

Yeah, I seen a lot of students there in the summers with name tags with the state they're from. They do everything from working in the kitchens and lodges to trail maintanance.

We have a trip planned in a few weeks to ski/camp into one of the backcountry thermal areas for a few nights.

Would love to spend some time in...
Denali
Glacier
Yellowstone

But I'm happy when I get to spend time in Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia too 8)

I could never pick just one...they all have something special to offer.

I will be visiting quite a few this summer, but I have really really been looking foward to the Tetons. So that is my vote.

It used to be Yosemite, but I've seen Yosemite quite a bit, so I'd say Glacier.

Though a close second for Arches.

I live in Yosimite Valley... I would hype it to anyone who has'nt been there. Go in the Spring. Bring a fishing pole and climbing gear. Take lotsa pictures.
Nepal has always been atractive to me. I don't know why. But I think I would like to trek there.

Gotta admit that I'm partial to Rocky Mtn, but Glacier has been high on the list for a long time now.

Yellowstone will be the next one I visit though.

We've visited quite a few...
Thinking of taking the Train from Michigan to Glacier...

Denali (our 1st backpacking experience) and the Grand Canyon (car-camping) have been our 2 favorites so far.

Yellowstone has been cool, too, but we didn't do much camping when we went-- hopefully, next time, we'll do some backpacking there.

My first camping trip was an eye opener. We thought we were going to a state park near the coast, but it was full, so we kept driving to the Pacific Ocean, walked for miles and camped where we were landlocked overnight all by ourselves.

The rocky landscape revealed a mass of tidepooling at low tide the next day to our surprise. We saw a ton of different colored star fish attached to the rock's sides with giant green anemonies trapped within the rock's pools.

This was just one of our magical trips in the Olympics in WA state.
