I've only scratched the surface of its backcountry trails. There are loads of geysers (or geezrs) way off road that most people never see.” 9:30:01 AM 1/28/05 “"There are loads of... geezrs way off road that most people never see." aero 9:30:01 AM 1/28/05 So Ewker's been hanging out at Yellowstone?” 9:31:28 AM 1/28/05 “aero, back when I was in high school I almost took a summer job at Yellowstone. Wish I had taken it :( Does Yellowstone still post jobs across the country looking for students to work summers?” 9:33:06 AM 1/28/05 “Yeah, I seen a lot of students there in the summers with name tags with the state they're from. They do everything from working in the kitchens and lodges to trail maintanance. We have a trip planned in a few weeks to ski/camp into one of the backcountry thermal areas for a few nights.” 9:44:53 AM 1/28/05 Would love to spend some time in... “Denali Glacier Yellowstone But I'm happy when I get to spend time in Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia too 8) I could never pick just one...they all have something special to offer.” 9:55:47 AM 1/28/05 “I will be visiting quite a few this summer, but I have really really been looking foward to the Tetons. So that is my vote.” 10:01:31 AM 1/28/05 “Here, here wind walker. I wonder what kind of jobs the National Parks would have for a retired retail buyer??? hmmmm.” 10:03:08 AM 1/28/05 10:07:04 AM 1/28/05 “Hey! You posted this on THE OTHER site first! Unconscionable! Though a close second for Arches.” 6:18:28 PM 1/28/05 “Mount Rainier, been there, done that, well not the entire mountain:)” 6:28:56 PM 1/28/05 “denali” 6:52:19 PM 1/28/05 “I live in Yosimite Valley... I would hype it to anyone who has'nt been there. Go in the Spring. Bring a fishing pole and climbing gear. Take lotsa pictures. Nepal has always been atractive to me. I don't know why. But I think I would like to trek there.” 7:00:51 PM 1/28/05 “I've got to pick one I haven't been to..... that's going to have to be Denali.” 10:25:17 PM 1/28/05 pinkbubelz “Come on out to Glacier in August. Yellowstone will be the next one I visit though.” 12:41:15 AM 1/29/05 “We've visited quite a few... Thinking of taking the Train from Michigan to Glacier... Denali (our 1st backpacking experience) and the Grand Canyon (car-camping) have been our 2 favorites so far. Yellowstone has been cool, too, but we didn't do much camping when we went-- hopefully, next time, we'll do some backpacking there.” 1:04:42 AM 1/29/05 “damn, how many people can say the first time they went backpacking was in Denali!” 1:16:33 AM 1/29/05 silly humans... “I wish to go to all of the ones that I haven't been to, and then to repeat the journey to those already visited. favorites are so sad.” 1:54:55 AM 1/29/05 “My first camping trip was an eye opener. We thought we were going to a state park near the coast, but it was full, so we kept driving to the Pacific Ocean, walked for miles and camped where we were landlocked overnight all by ourselves. The rocky landscape revealed a mass of tidepooling at low tide the next day to our surprise. We saw a ton of different colored star fish attached to the rock's sides with giant green anemonies trapped within the rock's pools. This was just one of our magical trips in the Olympics in WA state.” 3:45:56 AM 1/29/05 “Rocky mt acadia grand canyon ranier shenandoah, (but that should be accomplished in the next year) badlands zion glacier yellowstone yosemite death valley allegheny and of course,.... denali” 6:04:38 AM 1/29/05 what part of “"pick one" dont people understand?” 6:08:04 AM 1/29/05
