i wasn't sure whether or not to put this on a gear thread. jk.

yay, i am now the proud owner of a 2004 nissan xterra with 22 miles on it!

yes. i got the bumblebee model: yellow and black. i'm such a dork, but it was either that or granite and the granite just wasn't me.

Oh, Btw why not put it on the gear thread. I consider mine part of my gear. LOL

I'm sure it's not as nice as a brand new Xterra. Best of Luck!

Awesome, I had a 2002 Xterra before it got totaled. Loved it you can fit 2 mountain bikes right in the back with out having to lean them over (front wheel has to be taken off of course) very capable SUV where ever you want to go with it. And Nissan seems to be very reliable. My uncle has a maxima with 350,000 miles on it.

Nice choice your'll be happy

backslacker,.. nice explorer! my fam used to have one of them a few years back and we loved it.

Phantom, maybe we can race off road when u get yours ; )

roam, unfortunately i already know the life of the car payment club. i had bought a brand new toyota before this one,... remember? you were smushed in the back on the way to hawk mt? LMAO (she's now 2.5 years old and i felt so guilty leaving her at the dealership!),...

Mataharihiker, the price that he gave me for a used one that was fully loaded was way too high. so i got a new one that wasn't fully loaded. don't need all those extra gadgets anyway and instead of getting one with 16,000 miles i got one with 12 : )

So, my yellow kayak is called Mellow Yellow but I think your car requires a more vibrant name..like it's owner...LOL...I think it's gorgeous...that's an interesting roof rack thingie..how does it work?

my sport trak got wet when I showed your pics to her. must be a lesbian automobile thing.

her name is bumbles lol... bzz bzz.

lesbian automobiles. what can be done. i guess 'mobiles will be 'mobiles. maybe it's just a phase that they'll out grow.

cyndeee, can't come to ocala, going on the ice trip in ricketts glen : (

mata, the roofrack works just like any other... just need to pretty much tie it down but you don't lose acceleration due to wind blowing on the gear or luggage or whatever you got up there... the aerodynamics of the front of the roofrack lets the air glide over the gear so it doesn't hook onto it (if that makes any sense to you). the front part of the rack also has a removable gear rack for stuff that needs drying out. the crossbars are movable.

you watch too many kiddie shows.

i've named all my cars. my first car was a POS (1991 red ford escort). her name was ruby.

this second car, the 2002 toyota echo was lady gwenavere named after the parrot i thought i'd never have and now own.

now this one is bumbles for obvious reasons.

there i am with my girl.

i'm so annoyed. i just got her massively detailed yesterday on the outside and inside (not that she was dirty to begin with but since we had that big snow storm salt and what not have been everywhere). and now i wake up and there's 2 inches of snow covering her. well, at least i get to test her out today!

Mine is known as the...
Aswome Trak. Have fun...make sure you practice in an empty snow covered parking lot. These vehicles handle entirely different then passenger cars.
