“Mt Rogers Virginia: 1/4 ice at the base of the mountain and 3 inches snow. Did a day hike too scales, then on too wise shelter (AT).Snow and ice there 6 inches and more as you hiked above 4000 ft, much more. Drifts up too 1 1/2 ft from snow fall last week.
I live 3,600 ft and have 1/4 ice, 2 inches snow.”
