“SS, I didn't ever recall seeing Giamatti before this movie. Thomas Hayden Church was in it too. He was the guy that played Lowell, the stupid airplane mechanic in that comedy sitcom called Wings.

Virginia Madsen was in it too and she was great. She gave this talk in the movie about wines and what was going on the year they were made and how the wine is different if you open it one day as opposed to sometime later. It was a very stirring empassioned speech which was ruined by the idiots that were laughing next to me, but I had seen the whole scene on Leno, so it was not a complete loss.”

As far as Sideways, someone who likes "indy" films wanted to go see it in the Twin Cities, figuring it would never make it to the theaters around here. Happily, wrong!”
