NC hike

“Looking for any info on good places to go on NC. Looking to do a trip in Mar-Apr time frame.”

“Shining Rock Wilderness - Start at the Boy Scout Camp and climb Cold Mtn - then turn south and top out Shining Rock and head on down to Tennent then loop back to the BSA camp.”

“Go to a book store and check out some of the trail books they have on Western North Carolina. I used to take off from CLNC all the time to hike. I'm from them there hills so I'm familiar with alot of places. But i hike alot of off the beaten path trails. Get a book and take your pick.. Good Luck”
