“I figured it out last time it was posted on here... took me a while though, I'll admit it was freaky until i figured it out”

“hint: Play a couple of times, but pick the same number each time and notice what symbol you get. And notice that that same symbol is assigned to more than one number.”

“Yep. I knew it had something to do with math but I couldn't guess that it was alway's multiples of 9. I could tell right of the bat that the first 9 choices and the last 18 could never be used. I also spotted the repetion of symbols and figured there had to be a pattern that I couldn't spot. Pretty clever.”

“9 is a weird number. There used to be trick that I used to use way back in 3rd grade to sort of cheat with multiplication tables that worked only with 9's:

If you hold out your ten fingers (the leftmost one representing 1 and the rightmost one representing 10), and put down any one of them, the remaining fingers show you that factor of 9. For example, if you put down your 3rd finger, you have 2 fingers to the left and 7 fingers to the right, or 27.
