This is really not a backpacking TR “But it does show a family stuck in the mud that the desert had hidden with a 6 inch layeer of sand. They had to spend the night and then we came upon the Husband/Father out in the desert. Here is the trip report, check out how stuck they became. It is amazing. I do not think I could have driven out of it either. We came, we saw and we stood with our mouth wide open. The sights? Doug backwards on Heart Attack Hill, Harper Flats Kumeyaay Indian Village and Stuck in the Mud to the Undercarraige. Plus the Secret Pumpkin Patch. The trip report is with the pictures: http://community.webshots.com/user/wld2000” 1:34:32 PM 2/01/05 “Great pics. Pretty cool area too. Damn... sure did get stuck huh... so admit it, who made the comment about why they got stuck?? (with a jeep that would've not happend) I know someone did!!” 2:20:00 PM 2/01/05 “Grr, webshots keeps dropping out.” 2:53:22 PM 2/01/05 “It was so sloppy, I think even the Rubicon with Lockers would have a very tough time getting out of it. They only had the two plastic orange backpacking shovels. And they gave it a heck of a try. But it just kept sinking.” 3:10:08 PM 2/01/05
