Tipi plans?

“Anyone got or know where to get some plans for a tipi like the kifaru 6 man? I think it would be a really cool shelter but it is way too expensive.
I wouldn't think it would be too hard to build one.

6 or 8 triangular pieces The tricky part would be figuring out the dimensions needed to get the right size. I gues I could try building one out of cheap fabric first and use it as a patern.”

“The Cabin hostel in Andover, ME has a nice, traditional tipi that you can sleep in. I stayed inside in a bunk, but it was nice to hang out in the tipi by the fire. It does look fairly simple to make. Here's a few links worth a look for ideas:
