Palm Springs Tram to the Snow

“I took the Palm Springs Tram this morning and hiked out to Jean Peak via Wellman's Divide. Tons of snow up there. To think that it's just a 10 minute ride from Palm Spring to the snow via the tram.

“Nice trip, and you did the whole thing this morning..........? It's really weird how the snow is thickly plastered on one side of the trees, especially the one where there are no branches on the snow side. The wind must be fierce up there. That's a good documentary shot.”

Looks like a lot of snow up there...wannabp I too noticed the snow on the one side of the trees, I bet the winds can get high up there to cause that. I have seen that happened at Carson Pass in the winter like that.”
