“it was a gorgeous weekend around here...woke up saturday intending to come down for a walk, but after seeing four deer walk across my driveway.....i melted into the scene and the thought of packing the car and driving away .......well, ahh......looks like it was my loss...to miss what looks to have been a wonderful time

“SlowPack TMac - Say, you have a great memory. I did some checking and you are right. I carried things into camp a day early using the Jansport and took the pack to the car to prevent it's theft during the day. Then I went to visit lizs and some of my family further north. That was when I got the Duluth Pack. The check is dated Oct. 21st. When we broke camp on the 23rd, I did use the Duluth Pack to carry things to the car. Thanks for jarring my memory.

I reconized the AT, FNT, ECT, Ocalla NF, and Montanapaloosa 2002 patches. Good idea!

I considered sewing my patches on my pack, but it won't accomodate them all - and I sure as shootin' ain't gonna get a bigger pack just for that!

I have my patches displayed in a large picture frame (20x24?) and two matching 8x10s.

Patches kick all forms of momentoism!”
